Baycrest is a world-renowned, leading research and technology facility that is transforming the future of brain and physical health for our population. By 2031, the number of people diagnosed with dementia or cognitive impairment in Canada is expected to reach 1.4 million. That’s almost twice as many as today, which is why the work we do to preserve and extend the cognitive and emotional well-being of older adults is so vital.
And we are more than research. In fact, we’re many things to many people. Baycrest is a hospital, rehabilitation centre, long-term care facility, day centre for seniors, and assisted living provider.
ABOUT THE CANADIAN CENTRE FOR AGING AND BRAIN HEALTH INNOVATION (CC-ABHI)
